ournal: Singapore is the first board game to feature the
history of Singapore from its early days as a British Colony in 1900,
to its Independence in 1965. Play the role of Singapore’s early
pioneers and leave a legacy of prestige and influence.
Struggle to survive and thrive in the face of foreign domination,
drastic resource shortages and vicious infighting; work with other
players to see the dawn of an
independent nation (or trample them into the dirt).
Journal: Singapore is an easy to learn strategic board game that is
suitable for two kinds of play; play a single era for a fast game or
play competitively throughout the three eras.
Players choose their favourite pioneers and pit their wits (and special
pioneer abilities) against their opponents while trying to survive the
obstacles and effects of real historical events. With an innovative
dice-less game mechanic, every game is different. The game is
designed to be of low to moderate difficulty; simple enough for anyone
to learn and explore, while being complex enough to sustain the
interest of experienced gamers.
Journal: Singapore is a game designed for 3-5 players and can
be played in 1-2 hours. |
